-May include drawing, painting, photography and more
-Creation of treasured keepsakes
-Introduction to colorful characters from art history
-Rich assortment of arts-related reading
-Outdoor exploration and special guests
-Activities and presentations connected with reading and grade-level standards
-Reader's theater for fun and practice (Once they try it, they love it!)
-Personalized, individual and small group instruction
-Respectful staff with high expectations and effective technique
-At least two hours of direct reading, writing and spelling instruction daily
-Introduction to age- and developmentally-appropriate text
-Opportunities to earn incentive rewards, including new books, for effort and progress
-Morning and afternoon snack provided daily AND a camp t-shirt for each two-week camp attended
-The chance to get to know some great friends...people and books!
-Detailed schedule and parent information packet available two weeks before each session begins
